$500 at the GLF - Laura Murphy Creamer Competition!

Competition open to Beginner 2 ONLY in St. Patrick’s
Day Set Dance.
v
All first place winners in ALL age groups in
Beginner 2 St. Patrick’s Day Dance will have a “Dance Off” at the conclusion of
the Beginner 2 competitions.
v
The winner will be announced immediately
afterwards with the $500 prize!

Unfortunately the bad economy is hitting many of
us, and the Great Lakes Feis is no exception.
v
The Great Lakes feis is organized with only
voluntary help, but some items such as the venue, stages, medals, and paperwork
do have to be paid for. We have and
always will strive to provide for all our competitors a pleasant and positive
experience, and so far our feedback has been very encouraging. In order to allow us to continue, we hope
that if you are able, you can make a charitable tax deductible contribution to
help our feis.

DEADLINES !!! Please check all your
registration information once you have completed it. You can check both on
www.feisworx.com. The Great Lakes Feis is not responsible for mistakes you made
to your registration. When you proof-read your registration check for :
competition type, the age group, that you are indeed in ALL the competitions
you wanted to be in, … please please please check this information BEFORE the
deadlines because afterwards, changes can only be made at pre-registration and
you will be charged a penalty fee.

Sunday 16 Aug 2009
7:30 am Registration
open
8:00 am Anthem and speeches
8:30 am All stages start competitions PROMPTLY
(including championship stages!)
9:30 am Domestic art competitions articles must be
dropped off – judging begins
10:30 am Music and vocal competitions begin (end at
3:00 pm)
12:00 pm LUNCH BREAK (30 minutes)
3:00 pm Music, vocal, and art competitions end

information we have!
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Please note that there is still a lot of
construction in downtown Lansing

So if you stay in the Radisson, you will not need to drive to the feis the
